Welsh Cycling selects PT SportSuite as digital partner for Commonwealth Games and beyond

Welsh Cycling will collaborate with PT Engagement Team to activate digital community initiatives in the lead up to multi-sport event in July

Welsh Cycling, the governing body for cycling in Wales, today announced a digital partnership with sports digital consultancy PT SportSuite (PT) that will empower fans and riders to become content contributors for Welsh Cycling.

The partnership will see the establishment of two branded Community Portals that will ask fans and riders to respond to incentivised Challenges – with the end goal of creating a source of unique, behind-the-scenes, community-generated content, while providing more value for their commercial partners via branded fan campaigns.

To kick-off this initiative, WC, in partnership with the PT Engagement team, will launch the the Lead the Team Challenge on 4 July, asking WC fans to upload their photos and video messages of support for the Commonwealth Games cycling team.

In return, riders will submit their behind-the-scenes media to the official WC Rider Zone, with the best submissions being published to the fans, giving a unique peek into the riders’ training and Commonwealth journey.
