MAJOR LEAGUE RUGBY
Formed in 2018 with seven inaugural teams, Major League Rugby represents the highest level of rugby in North America. Since then, the league has grown from strength to strength, expanding to a 12-team roster and establishing an exciting, fast-paced style of play for its growing army of fans.
In advance of it’s fourth season, MLR and PT SportSuite announced a partnership aimed at positioning MLR as one of the most digitally enabled leagues in North American sports. PT SportSuite has worked closely with MLR’s technical teams to configure and deploy branded digital platforms across digital asset management, digital media workflow, video playlisting, mobile apps, and web and app-based fan engagement technology.
BRITISH & IRISH LIONS
The British & Irish Lions are one of the world’s great sporting brands and rugby’s last great touring team.
PT SportSuite partnered with the B&I Lions to provide media services that transformed the Lions’ digital media workflow, unlocking the power of their digital media archive and providing video OTT distribution to the tour mobile app and web platform.
We worked with the Lions digital team to provide a foundation upon which to unearth the digital gems of past tours, while enabling the collection of media content from players and supporters.
Bristol Sport wants to turn the city in the south west of England into a world-class sporting destination. As part of their mission, the organisation tasked PT SportSuite with overhauling their digital processes and capabilities around the collection, management, publishing, streaming and monetisation of digital content.
Our mission was to provide Bristol Sport with the digital tools and platforms to operate like a modern media house with a digital media infrastructure in place that would allow them to grow and sustain their digital community of fans in an integrated, end-to-end content network – culminating in three public-facing community app solutions for their three brands, DAM services, video OTT solutions across web and app, and fan engagement technology to transform fans into digital influencers for the group.
FNB VARSITY CUP
Since its launch in 2008, the FNB Varsity Cup has represented the highest level of university rugby in rugby-mad South Africa. The Varsity Cup is a competition that prides itself on innovation, placing itself at the forefront of match-day entertainment initiatives, experimentation and fan engagement.
Aimed primarily at establishing deeper digital connections between the FNB Varsity Cup, fans and sponsors, the collaboration with PT SportSuite will see fans given an opportunity to digitally engage with the FNB Varsity Cup brand on a new level, while providing the tournament with new digital properties that will offer more value to current and future sponsors
One of the world’s oldest and most prestigious international rugby competitions turned to PT SportSuite to protect the value of their digital media assets.
Six Nations digital media assets are now centralised in PT SportSuite’s AWS-powered DAM for the protection and accessibility of their digital media IP, while making it searchable and accessible to all media partners and production teams, simplifying digital media workflow, and revitalising historical assets with advanced AI services and video processing capabilities.

Three teams, two halves, one match – 3 Team Cricket is an exciting new cricketing concept launched by Cricket SA. PT SportSuite came on board as an official technology partner for the Solidarity Cup, the official launch of the new format, with our video OTT technology bringing the match to fans around the globe.
